See pic. The company is Rimblades. Just do a google search. They attach with pre installed 3M tape. Kit comes with cleaning solution, alcohol prep and 3m adhesion promoter. They can be installed while wheels are still on the car. Just follow the instructions. If you mess one up you can buy a single replacement so no need to purchase an entire new kit.
I would suggest you fix the damage first so the rim protector adhesive bonds to a smooth surface.

See my edit of the reply I gave you earlier.
Amazon lists "grey" not graphite as is shown on the bag in your pics. Where did you order? Do you think graphite = grey?
Was just thinking that I would need to fix the damage for a good grip
Wanted to close the loop on your suggestion about the wheel paint you gave me. I bought the paint but never used the color you suggested in part because some health issues / surgery got in my way. Last week I whacked that same wheel and decided it was time to get off my backside.
As you advised it is a pretty good match, not sure I would call it perfect but it is so close I would say I am very happy with the test spot I applied the other day. Gotta do some cosmetic work on the aluminum but I think your suggestion is going to have me smiling when it is all said and done.
