Hello all, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I have a 2015 rc 350 F sport with 40k miles. I've had the car about 3 -1/2 years and love the car but hate the stereo system. A little over a year ago the problems started and lexus can't seem to get it right. First they thought it was the amp and paid to have that replaced. After a month or so the stereo stopped working again. The dealer said a few speakers were bad and I had them replaced. Now, 3 months later, it's happened again they are telling me 6 speakers are bad, it's over 3k repair. Has anyone else had this issue??

 

Sorry to hear that. My '15 has the ML system in it. Hasn't missed a beat. 75K on the clock and still kicking it. Did you purchase the car new?

 

I purchased it used with just over 20k miles, I don't think the previous owners used it often. It worked great for almost 3 years before the issues started. I just don't want to keep dropping money into it and not resolve the problem. But don't have much of a choice since only ML is exclusive to lexus

 

I've only had my RC350 F Sport since July 11th so I guess it's too early to tell. So far no issues.

 

That is pretty strange. I use mine every day with no problems, but I have a '18. Not sure if that would make a difference.

 

Really the only issue here is more than likely your amplifier. They're prone to water damage being in the trunk. This was more common on the IS, however.
