Default Carplay Wireless Dongle

Hi folks, any of you using a Wireless Dongle to connect your Iphone to the car? If so please tell me which one and if you could comment on pro's and con's I would appreciate it. I am most concerned about music streaming quality as well as overall functionality. Thanks

I've just been using BT as acoustics on vehicle won't really be as good as quality home audio system. But it does sound better when I use the aux plug using my LG V60 as a DAP w/ wav/FLAC source on the Mark Levinson. Plus, if you don't have quality speakers on the car, it's moot to play audio files in wifi unless your source is wav/FLAC.

If I had the time, I still would like to change the speakers to aftermarket like Focal.

Thanks. I have the base audio, I may at some point upgrade the speakers. I don't want to lose audio quality so I may just stay connected. I usually plug my phone in anyway as I use Waze on almost every longer trips. Waze is a battery drain. But the convenience of wireless is a selling point.

I’m using Carlinkit 4.0. It connects about 95% of the time.

Thanks but not sure I want pull the touch screen out of my 2023 just for wireless. I see many Lexus 2024 models with wireless CarPlay/AA. Wonder if they would offer some kind of retrofit.

Amazon has a lot of good options for ~60 bucks. I went with the OTTOCAST CarPlay Android Auto...
Amazon Amazon

A little bit more, but I haven't had a single connectivity issue.
