heres something new i just did. didnt chop much on the car but it'll soon be cell shaded

trust me i'm not good at highlights and shadows...well i would try but..I just started playing around with photoshop..it's been like 6days now..How do i doit??

how do i create new layer with white?

so this what i came up with. took me almost an hour. kinda sloppy job, but it was really really hard. lol

I see why u couldn't fill colors where the lines are..
U gotta use different layers in order to have very clean look as well as shorting the time big time!(makes it very easy)
Photoshop->layers->new layer
then new layer will appear on windows..if u don't see that little window then go to windows and select layer windows.. then click on that layer u just have made..u can keep going going..
the trick is u can move around the layer and line them up down to up and whatever the layer that is at the bottom won't appear whatevery top on that layer..well it's like u stack different trasparent papers .
Trick is whatever u don't wanna detail u put that layer under ..(ex. u make the outline then make another layer then move it under that outline layer to paint the car ..) that way u don't need to worry about outlines
u do this to every single new layer.. i'm sure u can figure out..so that means u will able to erase some part not worring about erasing other layers..hope this helps..

when u are used to doing this then it will be very easy...well mines are not perfect but they only took me less than 30mins..i know if i take time i could do better...
