Yeah painted white... its the same concept as having the tail lights 'smoked' or tinted, it would just be white instead of black. I've seen it done on alot of show cars and its done on the guys car that is going to do mine.
here's a pic of the guys car that is gonna paint my tail lights and rims. His tail lights just blend into the car but are still legal and useable. I think the look on my car would just be awsome.
really? thats legal? thats pretty cool...definitely different and unique..i dont think it looks that bad..you should also do the bottoms painted. what kind of paint would you use?
I agree. Some cars can pull this off like that magnum they poseted up but that's only because it had the flashy paintjob and wheels to boot. Doesn't look right on a stock car, especially on white.
I'd have to say it looks odd in white, not enough contrast per se. And I think for it to look like how you want, it would have to be pretty opaque, so not much light is going to show through with that.
