Hello guys, I am at the moment that need new rear tires for my IS350. Few months ago, I replaced my front tires with Michelle PSAS4. Now I want to get the same for rear tires, but there is a nationwide shortage on the AS4s. Discount Tire told me they don’t know when they will get the AS4. But they have the PS4S summer tire. Should I go for it? Or go with other brand’s all season tires? Thank for your advice.

 

If you live in a warmer climate, that does not experience snow or cold weather - go for the PS4S, its a great SUMMER tire. If you have snow in your area, go for the AS4 - it is a much better all season tire.

I think they may be lying about the nationwide shortage. Costco gets AS4's almost every single day shipped straight from Michelin - theyre also in stock on Amazon if you want to order them or just check another store/tell them you will wait for it- I guarantee they will call you in a few days and tell you it is available.
PS4S is also pricier than the AS4.

 

I am running the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s (Summer Tire) on my IS500. I highly recommend the difference the car makes is amazing.
