Hello, so i had a question about my AWD system. I put on some new 19 inch wheels with new tires and while driving, i get a maintenance light that says Check AWD System. And recommendations on how to fix this? It’s a ‘14 Lexus IS350 F sport.
What size are the front and rear rims and tires?
Typically that message occurs when there is a noticeable difference between front and rear wheel sizes.

So i got 19 inch wheels but my front tires 225/35 and my rear tires 255/35. I also thought that was an issue
That's your issue...the rear tire is 3 sizes larger than the front.
225/35/19
235/35/19
245/35/19
255/35/19
Really your best option is to replace the rear tires with a 255/30/19, if you want to keep the 225/35/19 in the front...but that also depends on the width of the rear rims...I'm assuming they are 19x9.5.
If you leave it as is you could damage the AWD system.
If the rims are all the same size, then use tires that are also all the same size.
The problem with staggered tires on square rims is that one set of wheels will always be bigger...usually ends up being the rear wheels.
You can put 255/30/19 on all the rims.
If you want to go up one size in the front it would have to be a 225/40/19.
Here are your choices:
1. Make all tires the same size...225/35, 235/35, or 255/30
2. If you want to keep the 255/35 in the rear, make the front 225/40
The advantage to having square rims and tires is that you can rotate them to maximize the tire life. By having square rims and staggered tires, you lose the ability to rotate them...you might as well have staggered rims AND tires at that point.
