Default Engine swap or bolt on turbo?

Engine swap or bolt on turbo for a GS300, pros and cons? Engine swap = 2JZGTE Benefits = more horsepower gains potentially, more reliability (stronger motor than 2JZGE?) I plan to swap to Supra auto tranny too (necessary or not to handle the power upgrades?) Bolt on turbo on stock 2JZGE will give me about 350 rwhp, but will it still be reliable and will the engine hold up? Need oil sprayers and other internal mods to keep the engine from breaking correct? Doesn't the Aristo come with the 2JZGTE twin turbo? What tranny does the Aristo have (I'm assuming manual since most cars overseas are manual)? Please help. I want to find out as much info as I can to see which is the best direction. I want more power, but still keep the reliability and luxury so I know I can't go too high with the power.

I have contimplated going with the TT engnie myself, but I can guarantee that you will run into a ton of things that wont go right, its possible, but it will turn into a long drawn out process. Its not an easy swap. There are plenty of non turbo Supras that have single turbo kits slapped on, and they are running high HP, not 350. Toyomoto built one in S Fla. that was running in the tens. I say do the single turbo on your GS3 engine, build it, and go the whole route...feul, feul management, etc, etc, etc. You probably will still come out way cheaper than trying the swap...not to mention the time involved.

Check out SRT. The same turbo kits (stage 1-4) sold for the IS, also are available for the 98-2003 GS300.
I think you can even install the stage 1/2 kits yourself if you are mechnically inclined.

SwiftRacing web site

Better yet talk call them up, and talk to a tech there. They are cool, and will answer yoru questions, even if you don't purchase something from them.
