Default Valve Body Pins IS 250

HI guys, I have a Lexus IS 250. engine number 4GR0342055.

I am in the market for a new AWD automatic gearbox, however the supplier wants to know how many pins are on the valve body of the Lexus IS 250.

The car is parked in my brother's garage, and I am 800 km away. Can someone please tell me how many pins are on the valve body? Is the number of the pins the same for all IS 250s? Please assist, as this question keeps coming up and it is frustrating me, as I just want to get my car going again
.

This is unheard of IMO, I think the seller means connector pins for the transmission control unit. TCU. As in, how many pins for power and data.

Did you give them them the VIN?

Thank you for your response, That is what is frustrating me, I do not know what they are talking about. I provided them with the vin, as well as the full engine number. I am not a mechanic, but I know a little about the engine, but completely clueless when it comes to transmission. How many connector pins are there for the transmission connector unit? Maybe that is what the seller wants to know? The old transmission is still in the car, and I can only have a look at it when I return home sometime in February.

Little background on my problem, the reverse is not functioning anymore and it is not shifting out of third gear. So i thoght id just get another used transmisosin, It is an AWD automatic IS 250. I diagnosed it, got a few codes but do not have them at hand, but I do remember one of the codes was about bad transmission solenoids.

Any advice would be appreciated.

What year or better yet, what is the production date? Its above the vin. In the states a car made during or after October 20xx-10 makes it the next model year. But we need the actual production date from the pillar.

All 2IS IS250 RWD's used the same transmission for all years. For others, internals may vary within the same type (for instance the A760H in the IS250 AWD is not exactly the same internally as the A760H in the IS350 AWD, and so on).

That is the vin number of the vehicle, JTHBK262605084981. Then 10th letter is supposed to tell me the manufacturing date, but 10th place is a number, making it harder for me to decode the vin. My best guess on the production year is 2008.
