Default Magnaflow

Hey guys,

My 2007 lexus is350 needs a new exhaust. I got a quote from a shop who will be doing a stock setup with magnaflow cats. He also asked what kind of mufflers I wanted, I can either go stock or with magnaflow mufflers and possibly resonator delete. Is anybody running a similar setup with magnaflow mufflers? And magnaflow with a resonator delete?

How is the sound? I'm not looking for a ricer sound or anything insanely loud.

Thanks in advance

Leave the factory resonator. The ricer sound comes in when it is taken off or replaced. If it has perished, Vibrant Ultra Quiet, or other large resonators are the best options to eliminate raspy sounds. I have a secondary cat delete and muffler delete right now and it sounds ideal for me(yes it is loud, but not "straight piped v6 mustang loud"). not a lot of drone since removing secondary cats. I still have my stock axle back I can switch out (2 in total). I might do that too see the sound difference since I haven't heard the stock mufflers on with the secondary cats deleted.
