I got hit with a lot of work the past 2 weeks. It will be a gradual expansion into 2/3rds of the left side intake. It is a stock lower.

I'll post more pics as I go along. There isn't a 4GS performance section, so I'm hanging out here. Hehehe

I've never looked, is the GS rated the same 306HP/277tq? Curious if the ECU maps are the same?

Opening the exhaust up and the tune helped my 2IS, stock doesn't the GS have duals all the way out?

 

The gen same year as mine GS350 has 303 HP/274 ft lbs tq. The current gen has 311 hp/280 ft lbs tq. I think the GS is a bit bigger and more on the comfort side

 

I believe they're the same power rating. Duals with stamped X pipe stock. I made 2.5" with 4 resonators total and added mufflers the next day because I can't handle super loud exhaust. I desperately need a tune. Hoping for D3performance software soon....

 

Glad you put mufflers on. I can't picture a loud GS. I live in an area in a part of San Jose where a lot of youngsters do muffler/resonator and even CAT deletes and the noise pollution is horrible. A lot of these same youngsters like to race, and thankfully the cops are now starting to tow their cars

 

I've gone through 3 sets to get the quietest one. If I could find an old Greddy SP, I would make them fit.....

 

@moderator , could we get one made? There are more than enough 4GS performance threads that could be moved to them. Not trying to ruffle any feathers, I always forget to check this thread, as Im always in the 4GS forums

I was trying to find out who to request for a 4GS performance section to, but a lot of guys there argue that some mods don't do much of anything.

So, we get to hang out with the fun performance crowd over here. 2IS performance peeps must be busy lately though, hehehe....

 

I've submitted a request to get the Performance sub-forum approved and created for the GS 4th Gen model.

As much as we like having 4GS performance-minded folks staying at our sub-forum house and eating all of our snacks, it sounds like it's time for you to move out and get a place of your own.
