Is350 Maintenance
So I was curious , what maintenance should I do if I’m always flooring my car ? I usually do a lot of roll races with friends and I feel like other than changing the oil every 3k miles and Doing brakes when needed there should be something else I should Do so the car lasts .. I don’t want to do a transmission flush cause I’ve read mixed things about it, any opinions would be highly appreciated. My car has 100k !!
I do the same thing with my IS350, street or freeway runs. I'm by no means a certified mechanic, but just keeping up with the basic maintenance will keep it running smoothly. However my car has about half of the miles as yours, so i'd probably recommend checking the spark plugs on occaision? Besides that i'm pretty sure having clean oil, new brakes, new tires, and a clean air intake filter should be enough

Oil Changes, Brake Pads and Rotors, Brake Fluid, Tires, Air Filter/Intake, Differential Fluid, Transmission Fluid, Coolant, Spark Plugs, PCV Valve and Throttle Body cleaning. I'm not a mechanic either but this is based on other peoples experiences as well as my own. That list goes in order for highest priority to lowest in my opinion. As long as you keep up with the listed above you should be good to be doing pulls like that for a while, just make sure to inspect the car for leaks or any issues every once in a while! Everything else is just waiting until it breaks lol. Hope this helps!
Tires! That's definitely going to be regular
!
Maybe diff oil change if that's never been touched. Changing the diff oil isn't iffy like changing the transmission fluid is. Diffs are simple, unlike automatic transmissions, and there's practically nothing that could go wrong with a diff oil change apart from you not filling it correctly or not tightening down the bolts correctly!

I recommend changing your oil with full synthetic Mobil 1 high mileage oil with a good oil filter, change your spark plugs with OEM Denso plugs every 60k miles, and even with high mileage, you can get away with just doing a drain and fill of the transmission fluid. I have 200k miles on my transmission and just recently changed the transmission fluid and now have smoother downshifts and up shifts. But only use Toyota WS transmission fluid and measure the amount of transmission fluid that drains out of the transmission to know how much to put back into the tranny. Check your engine air filter regularly as well and replace it if it’s dirty and full of crap. I also do coolant flushes on my car every 50-60k miles to make sure my engine has clean coolant circulating through the system all the time. And lastly, change out the brake fluid in the master cylinder every 5-6 years, especially if you’re braking at high speeds and cooking the brake fluid often!
