Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator Question
Hey guys,
How much louder is a Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator compared to stock? Is it even worth adding to my car? I currently have the F Sport Axle Back but wouldn't mind it being just a bit louder, but I don't want it to go over the edge and be super loud with drone.
Should I stick to the ultra quiet or get the bottle style resonator?

I'm wondering the exact same thing. I have a Greddy Supreme SP axelback and want it a little louder. I have narrowed it down to both of those vibrant resonators too but I'm not sure which one to get.

(I noticed another member posted this in the performance section of CL but it was never answered. If someone has an answer for this it would help us both out a lot!)

I would leave the resonator alone if I were you. The stock one helps keep drone to a very minimum even with an aftermarket axle back. I have been fighting this drone issue for a year now with no real solution. Originally had AR25 resonator until it became a little louder than what my gf wanted (she drives the car now). And then replaced the resonator with the biggest bottle-style/glasspack muffler I could find. It helped for a few months but then ended up just as loud as the AR25 once it got broken in. But that's just me.
The Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator is def a good option in bringing up the sound levels a bit without adding much to any drone, but that's just imo. I mean it doesn't even cost that much so you won't lose out much at all for just trying it out I'll see if I have any clips... edit - no clips of stock resonator unfortunately.

Thanks Aspect! I just looked you up on insta and it looks like we're already friends haha. I'm tpearl_350 on insta. I ended up going with a Aero25 resonator and it sounds exactly how I wanted it to. It is still quiet, absolutely no drone and it has a super nice deep tone to it. It louder than the stock resonator but not obnoxious. I might delete my secondary cats down the road but I still want to be able to pass SMOG. California is pretty strict.
