Default Straight Pipes w/o Resonator Question

Any1 have this setup on their exhaust? Deleted my Secondary Cats and now thinking to remove the resonator as well....

Want to know how much louder it will get w/o the resonator....
(just for sound purpose, not looking for any gains)

Thanks!

usually straight pipes w/out resonator makes your car super loud!
anything w/out resonator will make your car loud
I guess you'll be the first one doing it..please post some sound clips..

You will probably gain a few decibels along with some unwanted weird sounds as well. Can't hurt to try I suppose.

It makes kind of like a short of high pitched ratchety sounds separated about .5 seconds apart, a.k.a., like a very loud series of farts spaced just a bit apart.

LOL that is a pretty good description! Just what I was imagining it would sound like. Guess if the OP decides to go through with it we can then see how accurate your description turns out to be.

HeHe---Thats me. ^^^ The cars sounded ok but I have added back a set of resonators to calm the raspy down. If you look at my exhaust now it copies the JoeZ setup. Or maybe he copied mine? j/k

You have to remember you have the Tanabe vs Jeremy's HKS so your setup will be quieter no matter what. Also Jeremy's system is completely different than yours with his being 2.5" true dual with x pipe.

Well it's 2 3/8ths where it connects to the Tanabe. On the other side of the resonator I believe it's about the same but maybe a tad smaller.

is it the same size as replacing the sec. cats?

im 50/50 about deleting the resonator...

afraid that it might sound too high pitched...

also, i browse on youtube about Kinney's mufflers on the IS350..
it is same as jeremy's setup (X pipe then straight to muffler) but not with a HKS...

will the straight pipe tanabe sound similar to Kinney's or louder?

here is the video..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJva2E18aqg

Larger than the pipe diameter for the secondary cats.
