Is This Legit? Pretty sure it comes with its own software. 800 bucks but if it does what you need it to do could be worth it.

Though one cannot assume that since no one on CL here has mentioned using this ECU tuning method that it'll not work, I'd rather work with RR Racing which now has a large base of members using their products with good results. Just my $ .02
I just don't like the fact that they are the only persons who can access the ecm via the dimsport mygenius. I'm building a 2grfse TT with low comp pistons, cams and trying to get a custom intake. The fueling systems on the 2grfse is very similar to the ecoboost so I could see if I can find someone where I live who's a bad *** ecoboost tuner. There some ecoboost making stupid power on stock rotating assemblys with bigger turbos.

Remote or in-bay turbos?
No build thread yet. And if you look at it it's not really that custom, it would be harder to front mount twin turbo an f body trans am or camaro. That's why I sold my 5.3 ttengine build. The cams are regrinds from mwr (bolt on). I have some obx or Chinese knockoff headers I'm having my Homie cut and weld them the opposite way just like I did on my 5.3 turbo build engine I sold. Air box gone. Relocate the fuse box or whatever that little black box is with the bolts on it. Already have an ets i/c, two 62/1 turbonetics turbos 2.5 vband exh housings, two tial wg. Already have two af gauges, boost gauge, ethanol gauge sensor and gauge, turbo oil plumbing, I need a new oil pan anyway so I can get bungs in those while it's out. Unless I got two new turbos which would be the comp turbo water cooled only turbos, the only cost is going to be the exhaust(my Homie who beads dimes), cams(1000 optional), extra engine(already have), pistons(1100), i can do all the assembly myself, engine management(?), tuning (find an ecoboost tuner and see what he can do, the engines fueling systems work the same) the difference between a 2grfse and say the raptor ecoboost is bore and stroke stroke is longer vs the bore on an ecoboost which is the opposite on a 2grfse, stock compression is a lot lower also. But with basically the same internals on our engine they are able to put out big hp. I don't want big hp I just want around 450-500 to the wheels. I love my car I don't want a new one, and I don't want a different one. RR supercharger would cost me more money since I have so many parts laying around already and have the potential for more, And if not I could just sell the engine like I did my 5.3 and buy another 240sx or somethin. Just don't like that i cant have someone here local tune my stuff and I have to depend on someone I've never met with a 6k$+ engine build that didn't cost me that much.

Excited to see where this all goes though!

Subbed. @Mesh704 has built a twin turbo is350, the biggest limiting factor is the transmission programming IMHO. The trannies are programmed for reliable and they do this by limiting the total amount of torque you can put down from 0-60. once everything is spinning full power goes to the wheels. I think thats why most newer Lexus cars do horrible off the line of a drag race, and make it up at the top end.

WOW! Never did know about this build! Thanks for the FYI. I did figure the trans would be the weak link; but I would venture a guess that there are probably upgraded internals already out there that would work in our 6sp auto trans, but we just don't have the data to know what would work/fit.
I don't think its the fact that the trans is weak, its that it is programmed to prevent you from launching hard to prevent damage. Mesh704 has a bunch of videos on YouTube under "lexus performance' and another user on this forum, biggame, has a S/C'd GSF with videos under 'powerripper' on YouTube as well.
Mesh704 is putting down 600+hp and nearly the same TQ to the wheels IIRC and the car still only does a 4.5ish 0-60. I think it the same with Powerripper's GSF as well. If you watch the drag races closely the lexus cars always are second off the off the line, even with a good driver, and typically win after they get up to speed and really start putting down the power.
I mean I would love to have a lower 0-60, but I guess you trade that off for having a solid car. So far neither car's transmission has exploded and is stock, even with the additional power. biggame's GSF is putting down 600+ too. Both trannies sound like they are slipping in the higher gears, but I haven't seen either Mesh704 or biggame say anything negative about the tranny or that it has failed.
I forgot to add that the TCU and ECU work together to limit power until the transmission is ready to prevent the engine and transmission from being damaged from a hard launch. I have a pdf somewhere from lexus that explains the drive-by-wire, ECU and TCU programming and it says that specifically, ill have to find it.

Sorry, just adding color commentary lol.
The ECU flasher looks like a product that has been around for a while, as I have found quite a few websites selling something very similar, even using the same images. Smells a little fishy, most products that are everywhere and advertised using a copypasta method are drop shipped from china. I am not sure I would risk it if you have no experience with it and no one to vet it, given the cost.
Ngauge and a couple of other tuners sell a device that allows you to load tune. take my advice with a grain of salt , I am not a tuner, just a lowly EE.

ive also been looking into bit box uses the J2534 Tactrix Openport 2.0 interface for obd 2, has like a dongle and it supports fcan and j-tag writing, they also have options for millions of other vehicles. could be like hp tuners or something like that. 600$ im thinkin of test dummying it myslelf
