Default Is 300 03 HELP !!

Just replaced timing and water pump.. no issues before besides bad 02 sensor.. after replacement it’s misfiring and engine is shaking ! Timing is perfect checked it’s like 10000 times. Could it be bent or broken valves? When accelerating it’s fine but when coming to a stop it shakes and starts misfiring ( cyl 1 & 6) If it is a bent or broken valve how much should I expect to pay?

Check you connector on the coil. Also, I know you said you checked the timing. But please check again. As for a valve issue. I doubt it. From what you say. You can check by doing a compression test.

^ +1 to this. The connectors on the coilpacks tend to shatter with age. What prompted me to get my timing belt replaced was when my 2nd coilpack connector shattered because my motor mounts were shot and the throttlebody was moving under load. It crushed the middle connector and the pins simply fell out.

Also, who did the timing belt? Because there is a trick to setting timing with the VVTI GE motors. The cam gear needs to be adjusted a certain way BEFORE putting the belt on otherwise you have a high chance of bending the intake valves.
That actually happened to me. I worked at a Toyota dealership some years ago where a supra tech offered to do the work on the job since business is slow during winter. He did everything but forgot to set the cam gear. Bent 6 of my intake valves.
