Default 01 is300 - Need help.

My 01 lexus’ transmission flexplate (flywheel) cracked and broke into 3 pieces and i got it fixed and it worked good for like 2 weeks then I got a check engine light and my traction control light started flashing. I took it to Autozone and I got the code ”P0115 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction“ which was my ECT sensor. and my overflow hose on my radiator was smoking evaporated coolant, and my temp gauge was going from the bottom to top then back down. After i changed the ECT sensor the smoking stopped and the gauge worked fine after. I took it back to autozone and got the same codes and my traction control light is still flashing, so basically i drift every corner and I live in Washington where it’s always raining so this isn’t fun. Any idea what it could be?

I would make sure that your car isn't consuming coolant. It sounds to me like an overheating issue. If your gauge is going from cold/hot that's usually a sign that you're low on coolant. A coolant sensor does not measure air/steam very well.... it measures liquid when it's submerged in liquid. Once your coolant level goes below where it should be that coolant sensor is usually no longer submerged and, thus, not measuring the proper temperature anymore.

Also, there are MANY things on these cars that can make the traction control light flash and the traction control stop working.
