Default AEM or Takeda cold air intake?

Wanting an intake for my stock 2018 IS300 F sport. I plan on getting an exhaust later on. Opinions on Takeda vs AEM? Another brand? Suggestions and comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

I vote AEM. Had a great sound, looked great as well. Im sure it would sound really nice on the 300, assuming they make one for it.

You have the 4 cylinder turbo. Are you looking for a lot of intake/ turbo sound?

AEM doesn't make a CAI for the 2.0 turbo models. Injen does though along with Takeda.

This intake utilizes the stock airbox so you would get a bit more sound over the stock setup. I went with the F-Sport filter and HPS intake tube.

Same here, the turbo is a little louder, but not by ALOT.

I went with the Takeda intake. Easy to install and slight improvement/increase in sound and pickup. I like it!

FWIW:

"At this time, we do not recommend any aftermarket intakes that remove the factory airbox."
