Default Invidia q300 midpipe vs Straight Midpipe

Does anyone have any experience with a Straight midpipe and a q300 axelback? Im torn between getting the q300 midpipe or having a straight midpipe fabricated at a local shop.

A straight midpipe is going to be louder than the Q300.

Looking for more volume, a little deeper tone. Performance is negligible with exhaust isnt it? And im not too worried about durability, a 3 inch steel pipe is pretty durable isnt it? Or do you mean something else?

my catless and resonator delete midpipe is being fabricated and installed tomorrow. will post vids of how it sounds with the q300 axelback. cost me 200$ compared to the q300 midpipe for 600 with resonators.

Don’t count it out!!! cost me 120$ to have it fabricated, a whole lot better than the 600 for the midpipe!! and definitely sounding better imo.

Updates:

So I went in to a local exhaust store today, they told me that if I bring a midpipe in, they would replace the whole thing but otherwise, they are not touching the 2nd cat and can only offer resonator delete for 120, he also say that he do not recommend removing the 2nd cat as I will lose mpg, can anyone confirm this? if I am only removing the resonator, then it wouldnt be as loud as replacing the whole midpipe correct? now im not sure what should I do Im thinking I might check anotheer exhaust store and see what they say

I didn’t lose any MPG, also, if you’re not in CA OR NY any shop should take it off for you, go visit another one if you’re not in one of those states.

yeah you’re required to have that second cat. i say go ahead and get the resonators removed from that shop. you would stay legal plus be louder than the invidia. the invidia would make you illegal plus it still has resonators. just my .02$. all up to you man! plus it would be cheaper to have the resonators cut out
