Added Magnaflows this morning with new stainless tips. Exhaust turned out good. Cant hear it at idle or at constant speed on highway. Makes decent sound in the throttle and start up. Will post pics and vid later.
2 Dynomax/Walker 24440 2" resonators $51.00
2.25" Stainless X-pipe $22.00
Labor to delete secondary cats and install x-pipe and resonators $150
2 Magnaflow 11235 2.25"/2.25" stainless mufflers and 2 stainless slant cut rolled tips installed $300
Cost $523 and got exactly what I wanted to achieve. Only thing I would have done different is used 2 2.25" resonators instead of 2". The factory exhaust starts out at 2" then 2.25" after the secondary cats then back down to 2" at the resonators. I may change it up slightly later. Also would probably been about $100 cheaper if I had done it all at once instead of 2 trips.
I am happy for you as well with the sounds. Are they all welded on? Does that mean that you can't change it back to factory?
I kept the factory mufflers, just in case. If anyone else wanted this set up, you could always have the exhaust shop unbolt the mid-pipe and put in an entirely new one (which shouldnt be much more than I spent). And same thing with the axle back. Would just have to find a way to haul it all back home.
On a side note, I am very disappointed in the lack of insulation these cars have, compared to my Acura TL. I plan on adding a lot of sound deadening to the trunk area of the car, and will end up with it being even more quiet inside after that.
You are right lol, I dont know if its just me but in your video, your in cabin noise sounded pretty much like on the outside... I see some other video, they seems better than yours..
