This is correct either you get the 2017+ diffuser or an aftermarket one that fits quad tips.

Did you get your exhaust installed at a tuner shop?

I did. It was a quick install and cost $100 in northern California.

Hmmm if I had to guess I think it’s a little more. Not sure and I can’t currently measure it.

Did you buy a RC Tanabe exhaust and fit it onto the IS? If so, which one and how much did it cost?

RC tanabe medallion axle back exhaust fits on an IS. The dual tip fits perfect on the 17+.

I can't wait to get mine! Ordered it last week but they seem to be out of stock everywhere around me. Should arrive in about 2 weeks though. I've got a 350 so hopefully it sounds as nice as the videos Tanabe posted for the RC 350.

yepp, sounds the same on an IS350 as it does in those RC350 videos. I have it and after a few months it's calmed down to a good sound.

How many miles did it take to calm down? Do you still get some drone?

It took about 300ish miles. I have no drone now. Idk about anyone else. That break-in period was very droney though haha.

BTW everybody, that Tanabe video with the RC200t does this exhaust NO JUSTICE. It sounds much better in person. My car went from silent electric car (LOL) to almost a V6 deep exhaust note. I have 0 regrets buying this exhaust.
