I have the Borlas and love the sound. The quality of the construction is very good also. Only problem with them is the rubber hangers supplied by Borla are real cheesy and don't last. I have mine mounted with stainless hose clamps at this point until I can find some polyurethane hangers that will work.

Since you're in California, land of the car, go to a meet and you'll get to see several exhausts that way. Your thread title is 'best oval exaust' - do you mean best OVERALL exhaust???

Many of us Norcal folk meet on a weekly basis and I don't think any of us retained the stock exhaust. Come on by and say hi [again] and look/listen to your hearts content. There's another Karting get together in Fremont this week. And we just went karting on Saturday with the IS300.net locals. What a blast, 4 GS and at least 8 nicely modded IS.

GS400kid,
Synergy has arguably one of the meatiest sounding exhausts amoung the NorCal members. Without the resonators, Synergy's RMM is much more pronounced than mine. Like RedGS4 said, you have a lot of different exhaust systems available for your hearing pleasure up here in NorCal.
