Default Does the Greddy EVO replace the resonators?

For you Evo owners out there, does the Greddy Evo replace the stock resonators? Im trying to figure out how far the system replaces, I know its more than the rear section right? Any help, or pics would be appreciated.

Easy Turbo.... You will not find too many people with this exhaust. The EVO is the latest edition to Greddy. And at a price around $850, only a few can afford it!

I had a long day, apparently I was a little irritable when I posted that!

TT,

I believe the EVO design is the same as my PE except the canisters. The Y mid pipe starts right after the factory resonator.

I just got it on today, so I will answer my own question for those that are thinking about it in the future. Yes it does replace the two resonators, it is a full cat back exhaust......a nice one too!

Is it a full catback or center resonator back? Per Jacob, if the EVO is like the PE then it's not catback. My Tanabe Hyper Medalion also starts at the center resonator [replacing the rear resonators and mufflers].

red, Your'e right, I stand corrected. It does go from the center resonator back, Im thinking about getting rid of that center resonator, Im not sure if it will really be worth it or not.

TT,

Removing the center resonator will result an extreme loud exhaust system. You won't gain much HP from removing it. I know someone replaced it with a 4" straight pipe and man it's loud.

It is the same as the PE, but the canisters themselves are a tad smaller. Also, the tails are not centered in the canister, they are positioned lower on the canister, thus raising the canisters for more ground clearance than the PE.......

Default greddy evo exhaust

i picked up an evo exhaust in june if i remember right. i don't know whether it's cat-back or resonator back, but that is one beautiful sound. every ricer that see's it stares and their jaws drop at the size of those melon launchers. now my wife just traded in her 2003 acura tl s and got a 99 gs400. first thing she wants is greddy evo exhaust. first time i let her drive my car to work she called and said she turned off the stereo so she could listen to those wonderful exhaust notes.

Sorry TT didn't see the post. Cat back is right. How do you like it? What rear bumper do you have? I had the explosion now I have L sportline, I'm short so I'll have to mod it later.
