Unhappy K&N Air filter

Hey guys the other day I installed the K&N air intake system to my 2014 lexus is250 f sport. I noticed a significant change in MPG. The MPG I'm getting was worse than before, Is there anything I can do to improve my mpg at all ?

If this is an oil soaked gause filter that it may have contaminated the MAF sensor.

What's significant? Also, nothing else has changed? Fuel octane, commute, exhaust, etc.

Thinking of getting the K&N air filter for my IS200T, is there any added benefits at all other than the louder engine note? Thanks..

It won't really help to give a louder engine noise. It will help with greater air flow (less restrictive) and it's reusable so you just clean it and keep using it instead of buying new ones every time like OEM paper filters.

Though there’s not really proof that an oiled filter can cake up the MAFS unless over oiled, it’s possible so maybe look into the F Sport reusable filter or AEM dry filter. Just a suggestion.

Buy my F Sport filter for sale. PM me. it's cleaned and ready to go.

I would not go K&N. Too much complications/hassle with the oiling. not worth it.
