Default New Exhaust Upgrade

Buenos Dias!!!
Happy Fri Yay everyone! Soooo I purchased an extended warranty for my IS 250 when I first got her back in 2015 . I had the warranty rebuild my transmission and I also changed the clutch, before the contract expired. I will admit, I had a stage 3 clutch in her before the warranty changed the clutch to stock, I miss the stage 3. Definitely a difference in shifting and power . I figured I might as well get the most out of the warranty while I can right, that's what I paid for . When I got the car back I noticed my exhaust is extremely loud and I'm assuming it has a grave leak somewhere. I can tell she is lacking in power and of course the gas consumption has been affected. I knew I had a small leak before, I think the problem became bigger after they performed the transmission work. No biggie it is what it is. Now the new project comes for me to upgrade the full exhaust system. I was looking at the J2 exhaust set up. Have any of you installed this in your car? Have you experienced any complication or custom modifications needed done to properly install? What are your thoughts if so? Does it improve performance in your expierence? What other exhaust systems would you recommend? I'm looking for improved performance and obviously some umpf in power. A girls gotta move Give me your expertise outlook and advice!!!!

Thank you!!!!

So what exactly went wrong with your transmission, and which clutch did you have?

Can't say I've really heard much about the J2 exhaust, but it does sound pretty good to me on YouTube. Especially considering how cheap it is... Would definitely recommend my F-Sport setup, but it seems like you're looking for a full catback, yeah?
Hey!
There were a few internal parts that had wear and tear and other needed fixes that the warranty covered, don't remember specifics at the moment. I wanted to take full advantage of the warranty before it expired. I had a Stage Three Spec Clutch before the shop changed it to a stock clutch. Can't complain as all the repairs were covered and didn't kill my pockets. This year I would like to upgrade my exhaust. The leak has impaired driving capabilities and gas consumption. Not to mention I don't care for the noise its making lol

I would guess that i do need the full exhaust and catback set up...Would need further expertise on this. The F-Sport set up would be how much to install? How did you go about that set up?

Hola!
I was also looking into invidia. A bit more pricey but how is the quality? I would rather pay for performance quality and it be durable/dependable ya know what I mean Did you install the set up yourself or did you have to get it installed at a shop? Did you have to modify it in anyway to fit to your car? Any complications? What do you like most? How do you feel about its performance?

Hey!
This is what I feared!! I am trying to do my investigation on exhaust systems that are dependable and of course improve performance. The tricky part, I'm going about this solo and need as much expertise help I can get. Install is very important I can imagine, worried about modifications and surprises that pop up when parts are in hand, ya know what I mean. I've heard of the J2 and the Invidia, I would have to investigate if there are any others that are compatible as well to see. Thank you for showing me the different threads, definitely appreciate all of your support!
