Default Should I wait for the 2018?

I am about to pull the trigger on the 2017 IS350 F Sport RWD.

Looking online I see that the 2018 IS350 F Sport that is coming around the corner come standard with an LSD.

Do you think it's worth waiting/paying more for the limited diff?

I live in southern california so rain/snow isn't really a big issue. I do like to go to the canyons occassionally.

How much do you notice the LSD when taking quick/sharp turns and in the canyons? I have read that the LSD can be dangerous for somebody that is not a very experienced driver so that what worries me as well. I have had my licence for 7 years now and have had sporty cars in the past, but never had a RWD car.

Thanks in advance

The LSD is a deal breaker for me. You could technically get a LSD installed on the 2016 but it is very costly (approximately $2000.00 or more). You really notice the handling with a LSD and you could do an "actual" burnout with. lol

You probably won't able to get a good deal on the 2018 though, maybe a little. But what's more important to you?

I don’t care about burnout or anything but I really want to have a car that handles really well. I spoke to my dealer and he’s assuming an extra $50/month on a lease.

Hes just assuming though. He’s saying you won’t be able to get a really good deal until all 2017’s sell out. I just don’t know how worth it is to wait. Are they more dangerous at the limit than one without it?

Not really on these cars since the traction and yaw will kick in even when fully turned off and it just doesn’t have enough torque to make it dangerous.

So would you say it’s not worth it for the LSD?

LSD is worth it, but you should be able to get huge discounts on 2017's. So no.

Where can I find confirmation that LSD will be included, and if so, would it be standard on an F Sport? I just built out a car and it came to $49k.
