Default Thoughts on the Takeda intake

I have a 14 is350 fsport and wonder what everyone's thoughts are on it. I have the hps tube and a k&n drop in filter. Is it really worth it to get the takeda intake. Or am just throwing money away.

Not worth in my opinion. On a stock tune, I think the only difference would be the sound of the takeda vs the sound generator from the HPS. For reference I have the HPS tube with the F-sport air filter + RR tune on a 15 IS350.

If you can afford spend a little more I'd recommend getting the RR tune to compliment the HPS intake - the car def pulls a lot harder than before and will be tuned to accommodate the extra airflow.

How do you go about getting the tune. I have apexi midpipes paired with the Stillen axle back, hps intake tube with k&N drop in filter and cut a hole in the front of the intake box for added sound. Just wanna know what's involved in doing it and does it mess with warranty.

If you cut a hole in the intake box, you might as well buy the Takeda one now.

Do you have a picture of the incision?

No. But it's just like the 2is fsport intake lower box.
