Installed LSD last night REVIEW
Installed LSD, took me two days and a total of 7 hours. Double check everything and took my time.
The LSD was purchased localy from the guy who switched from auto to manual on his 1994 Toyota Supra.
Cleaned it up and painted the LSD then drained the fluid and put some redline gear oil into it.
Install was easy but time consuming, too many things to disconect and I also did not have
the transmission jack and LSD is very havy so I used a normal jack and piled some text books on it to
raise it to the desired hight, worked out ok.
After install took it for the drive it was raining, perfect environment for testing. The car has more torque
of the line and you can easily feal it, it use to be undrivable in the rain (upgraded wheels and tires,
tires are summitomo HRZ+ 245/45/17) now the car can easily be pushed to its limits in the rain. If I step
on it it will spin wheels (both wheels) for a split of a second and then the car takes off the wheel keep
spining until 4K and the car picks up speed very quick, tracktion light comes at around 4K , but it does not
cut the power to the wheels like it use to.
I am going to build my own exhaust in a month, it will have who kevlar mufflers that weight 4.5 pound
and will not have any resonators, will post pics when its built.
