Default Straight Pipe/ Exhaust on 2017 is200t

How's it going? This is my first time posting on here so not sure if it is in the right place.
I just got a 2017 is200t fsport and want to make it louder. I have seen two exhaust systems the Q300 and the Apexi. I spoke to a few people and said to just put a straight pipe on it. Will putting a straight pipe harm the car at all and will it sound good and not like a beat up Honda. The car is also lease so I want to make sure that whatever I get done I can switch back once the lease is done. Thanks a lot.

Straight will be loud, with a lot of drone in the cabin

Stick to a full cat back or an axle back if you want to minimize the cabin drone even further

Honestly there are quite a few cat back brands that it's really personal preference

Apexi
Invidia
Ark

You're probably looking at 1200 for a full cat back and maybe 600 for just an axle back

Axle backs have even more brands available

F Sport
JoeZ
Magnaflow
Tanabe

I would start on YouTube and then try finding people on the forum with the setup you liked to hear it in person

Thanks a lot. One last question, do you know if the exhausts for the is250/350 so years 2014-2015 are different than the 200t or would they both fit the same?

Axle backs will fit, full cat backs will not as the mid pipes are different

Default Best Axle Back for IS200t

How can i make my 16' IS200t loud/deeper without spending $1200? Keep in mind the car is a lease so don;t want to cut and weld anything either. I heard axlebacks go for about $600, which one should i be looking at?

Any recommendation? I hate how the IS200t doesnt sound mean at all.

i installed this week the invidia q300 axle back on my is350, i like how it sound, its almost like stock just more aggressive, i dont hear anymore the stock intake resonator, i would just wish it was a bit louder tho, i was thinking to put the invidia midpipe but it will sounds way to loud for my taste since i like quality sound, my uncle has a maserati and those are great sounding cars its sad i cant make it sound like one haha

You can pick up and axle back for us for a good price.

Since its a lease you can go back to OEM easily.

I currently have the Tsudo Axleback.(bought for $350 on eBay) It sounds similar to the Invidia Q300s with a deep tone and little in cabin drone however wish it was a bit louder.
The welds are done well and it looks great unless you aren't a fan of the blue tips (can be easily removed)
You can also add a tsudo or invidia midpipe if you want it louder which is about the same price as the axle back itself

Sorry, I just had to censor some parts. Just ignore the silly drawings (Random AF Cats!!)

Am running the Invidia Q300 plus the Invidia Mid pipe on my IS200t, and honestly it only adds a bit of depth to the tone but almost no noise, also it does add a bit of a drone inside especially if your sitting in the back but that could be due to the downpipe's catalizer

I like it since it keeps low profile and same time gives the performance I am looking for
