Hey guy,
I got myself a JDM 2JZGTE VVTI swapped IS300 with R154 tranny recently and I want more power but I need your knowledge to back up my plan.
I have laying around:
The stock USDM 2JZGTE twins out of a Supra and 550cc stock injectors
I want to get:
FCD
Lighter pedal effort clutch
Apexi piggy thing or standalone Haltech 2000 or 2500
The question is can I swap USDM twins on my JDM motor, any benefits? Can I get 450hp with USDM twins? Any suggestions on light to moderate pedal effort clutches for R154?
From what I've been told 350-400whp on twins max. Stock 440s will be suffice. That's a very respectful fun daily driver. If funds aren't a issue standalone ecu will be your best bet with big injectors and some e85. Unless your stuck with 91/93
If your on a budget . Do all bolt ons, exhaust, intercooler, intake and downpipe and get a piggy back and turn up the boost.

I have USDM twins, can I replace my turbos with the usdm ons or does it require modification to fit. I will get a fuel pump, bigger 550cc injectors, full 3" staight pipe exhaust and other bolt ons to support my upgrades, but can I even bolt on the usdm twins on my jdm headers? Am thinking standalone because I can source a Haltech 2000 for like 800 usd or less with 2JZ adapter, but sometimes deals are gone in matter of hours. Lastly do you know any light to moderate pedal effort clutch for the R154 tranny that can hold like 480tq?
