GS300 Aristo swap TACH Issues
Good day all,
I have a 1999 GS300 RHD that I have swapped stock motor and replaced it with a Aristo 2JZ-GTE VVTI motor. Im currently having issues with my TACH im done searches but are confused with the number of posts that are different. What I understand is that to get my Tach working I would need to run a wire from the ignitor to a port on the 2JZGTE ecu, I have identified the port on the Ignitor as its a empty slot labled TACH but finding it hard to locate which port on the ECU to connect it to. Help would be really appreciated. In the hean time heres some pictures from my build.
I saw where I should connect the wire from the ignotor the the F59 #20 onto the aristo ECU but still no luck. TACH was working before the swap.

nice build and nice exhaust... The tach feed from igniter doesn't feed to the ecu, it needs to connect the harness in the ecu box that is mating to the cabin harness.. It is the front most connector, 2nd pin back, and it is black with a yellow stripe. Just tap the new tach feed onto that black/yellow wire and your done.
