hi guys,

finally getting around to modding my exhaust. Right now it is OEM stock.


I'm looking for a deep/loud catback. I want the blue burnt titanium axelback like the q300 invidia. Unless you also know other axels like that.

Which catback is good to mount with the q300? Also other suggestions on exhaust combos are welcome.


Do axels even make much sound? I think the axels are just for looks and the mid pipe is what gives it the deep sounds. Correct me if I am wrong.

For true Deep Loud Exhaust the HKS high power would be number one. Because its a huge muffler box.
For a more subtitle deep is the MEGAN racing axle back.

Both can be paired with either Invidia or Megan mid pipe. Invidia has a slight rasp but with those two axle-backs that i've mention, i doubt there will be much rasp compared to your usual axle backs like the Tanabe,Q300, etc..

There is thousands of talks with exhaust combination to choose from in the past in ClubLexus. Try searching and reading them through, They date way back with O.G members that was around in the forum. Experimenting and capturing videos . Its all in your preferences.

but expect the unexpected when it comes to Drone noise or whatever it is u may find.

 

I am looking to pair something with the Q300 Invidia

 

Confused are you looking for the axleback or a mid pipe

 

If youre set on the invidia all you need to figure out is your midpipe. I think the invidia does not have resonators so its raspier than the megan which does have them. I personally do not like the raspy notes. But to each their own. Here is the megan exhaust which is very similar to the invidia in terms of the look youre going for

My all time favorite sound is what Hoovie had, a Megan mid pipe paired with the FSport axle back. Try watching YouTube videos you will get a general idea of what combos make the best sounds.

 

im looking for a midpipe to pair with the invidia q300 axle back. but i am still open to suggestions on any combo of axel + midpipe / catback system.

 

ive heard tons of different set-up on youtube. they all sound the same to me, perhaps i have bad hearing. i know thats not how they sound because ive heard many set-ups in person and they are far off from video quality sounds.

 

Have you considered the ARK DT-S system?
Don't know if it's out of your budget.

 

And that's what i suggested, and yet you still set on your preference of Invidia Axle.

Since you don't want my suggestion. There is only 2 mid-pipes you can add to that Invidia. its either INVIDIA or MEGAN.

Then... there is a Custom mid-pip that you yourself can have anything put on wither it be straight pipe , reso, glasspipe, high flow, its up to you.

 

It seems theres a lot of people who join, ask a question or two and never return. Lol Or dont retain the information posted by others. Lol

Does anyone here know how much HP that ARK DT-S system actually adds? There is no way it actually adds 11 otherwise I think it would be mentioned more often. (yes I know it says 'up to 11whp' but any actual figures?)
