I just noticed a bunch of these up for sale in the classified sections and seen a few on eBay recently. I would hav thought that once these are on a car they would never come off unless the car was being sold. Is there something wrong with these? Too loud?
A big percentage of these cars are leased . People mod'em then de-mod'em and then give back the car. I saw an LS with Davin revolutions on , that was returned.
No, there good. I've had mine on for two years or more. I was disappointed with my dyno gains but as it turned out I had a fuel pump on the fritz. I look forward to doing another dyno because the buttometer says more power is in place after the new fuel pump.
Off the line acceleration gives me, imo, a slight hesitation with the SRT but the trade off is worth it once you're up to speed. Worth the purchase.
SRT intakes are hands down the best. When I sell my car, I'll sell all the mods separately too, you'll get a lot more money back that way unless you just happen to sell the car to someone that know's what they are worth and is willing to pay.
Or they may be upgrading to a turbo or s/c. California should be the only place where emissions would be an issue, and they should know better than to buy anything without checking CARB status first.
