Default 2001 gs300 2jz swap

Hi there CL first post here I have a 2001 gs300 I bought with a bad motor I want to do the 2jz twin turbo swap should I get this model I have read somewhere on here not to get the vvti but to get the non vvti also I'm not buying from eBay I'm buying from a local JDM motor company a list of all parts would be very helpful I'm a noob at Lexus

non vvti seam easier to deal with with imo the vvti motor have a better torque curve. VVTI seem to be able to build lower end torque on higher horsepower cars if tuned correctly
