^Yeah, the whole "send-us-your-ecu" thing is a hard pill to swallow for must folks like me that drive their 2IS everyday. But once the OBDII port tunes start becoming reality, it'll change I think.

So, what parameters have you instructed them to do with the ecu...if anything specific? Raised rev limit, remove speed limiter, etc etc.

I just wanted the higher revs, and higher shift points to go with it. I asked about disabling the rear o2 sensors but that wasn't an option at the time. If I remember correctly there will be an option for me to change whatever on my own so I won't be too picky.

I'm curious on how much they take advantage of the direct injection, the stock commanded AFR is fairly rich and di engines can get away with running closer to stoichiometric. If ttfs/rrracing haven't taken advantage of the di then perhaps I'll be able to get 300hp after headers.

RR Racing has the OBD ecu tune available now. I wonder if anyone has got it yet because I'm really tempted but need some assurance.

I'm curious about the OBD tune from RR Racing as well. But let's not thread jack the OP lol.

Another interest of mine would be possibly removing the retardant on downshifting from 2nd to 1st. It only lets you downshift from under 3K RPM, but even when you're right at 3K RPM it spiked to 4K on the downshift, plenty far from redline.

not sure if they could do this with the tune but if they could take that extreme lag away from when you put your foot to the floor and when your tb actually gets to wot, that would definitely give the car a much better all around feel. I'm sure it'd get a few more respect points too. The 250 is basically a rwd Honda si with more potential IMHO.

Any updates on this tune yet by any chance? Really curious to see what they managed to get.

My ecu is on its way back to me, they say, "we were able to pick up an addition 10-15whp overall on a completely stock IS350". I will give updates after I get the ecu.

Okay thanks, seems like they got about the same gains as RR and TTFS. Hopefully there is still some room for improvement but if not then I guess that's still good considering its just a V6 anyway.

^Good gains considering a stock IS350! Would love to see someone post MEASURED "tuned" gains before and after with full "suck and blow" mods.

I just bought headers, I will likely get them on within the next couple weeks and some time after that I am planning on getting on a dyno to have the tune tweaked for my car. At that point I hope to hit the magic 300hp mark with my custom dual exhaust and intake. Depending on how long it all takes I could reflash the ecu back to the stock map and have a with/without tune comparison. My goal for the car is 310hp and I think that is doable with after playing with the intake manifold which will be my winter project for the car. I would love to try a measured 0-60 comparison before/after tune/headers and with/without the higher RPMs, but as is I seem to lack traction and I don't think its going to get better with more power.

What's the plan for the IM? Enlarging the ports? Port-matching? Custom enclosed chamber IM?
