I just recently bought a 2016 is200t and wanted to look for mods. After breaking in the car I bought the burger TUNNING intake, a nice cheap mod imo.

 

Great mod for turbo cars. Spool up is probably noticeably faster. Also louder.

 

Are there any reviews out on this? I'm dying to purchase it but i would like some feedback before i pull the trigger. Anyone with a sound clip while driving?

 

Ive been looking but have not found an actual review. Ive only seen the short video clip of the car with it installed and revving the engine.

 

I had it installed in my car. It definitely gave you a loud turbo spool sound but i thought it was a bit too loud for my taste so i settled for a K&N drop in filter and also removed the mesh from the factory air box.

 

What kind of sound was it? Deep, throaty? Also, which drop in filter did you purchase and how does that sound?

 

It was a deep turbo spool sound and you can hear the diverter valve between gears and when you get out of boost. I used the same K&N filter from my 2014 IS250 and it didn't change the sound much from the stock filter.

I've yet to find any video clips of the Burger Tuning intake while being driven, or from inside the cabin. Does anyone know if there is another brand that is developing an intake for the IS/RC200t? What burger tuning has is pretty much just a filter with the MAF sensor adapter. I'm looking for a complete intake system.
