Default Modding Exhaust on IS 200t

First off, I do not know if this is the correct place to post this thread, if not, please move it or tell me where to move it and I gladly would.

Second, so I installed Invidia Q300 axle back on my 2016 Lexus IS 200t and it's great... Although, I am looking to make my car louder. Why? Cause I want to. lol.

What my issue is I want to get a midpipe (preferably invidia midpipe) but I do not know which or if it'll fit on my car.

I was also thinking of getting a straight pipe, and I know it's super loud, but I was wondering if anyone out there has a similar set up (or even have a straight pipe with Joe Z axle back) and would like to share their thoughts on the setup.

In advance,

Thanks

Congrats on your IS200t, this should be in the IS specific forum.

Check the APEXI exhaust, maybe they can sell you their mid-pipe.

Invidia also sells their mid pipe individually, you could try contacting them for fitment

Alright, thanks. I tried to contact Invidia once but they never responded. I'll try again.

Just to be clear the OEM mid pipe on the IS200 T start off as a single down pipe then Y section into the two seconardy cats and two resonators....

So none of the aftermarket IS250 / IS350 Midpipes will work..

The Axlebacks on the other hand, are an easy bolt on upgrade & luckily all of the existing aftermarket Axlebacks from the IS250 / IS350 should work...

If you want to get something, it should be a downpipe.

Alright. Great info. I guess I figured that much as I've been told there are no midpipes yet to be made for the is200t.
My only solution is to go with a straight pipe then.

Thanks for the reply!

Mikexay, do you have a video on YouTube with the [current] exhaust sound?

I've been toying with the idea of going straight pipe from the cat back. Would be really curious to see how it would sound on our cars.
My friend has a full straight pipe on his sr20det 240sx and I love the turbo sound. I don't know if our engines are comparable, however.

Not the same engine and won't be the same sound. Let us know how that project goes. I spoke wit ARK and they're working on the prototype for the IS200T. The timetable is unknown as of right now. =/
