Default Tanabe Exhaust Axleback Gaskets **Also Maintenance Question**

Since it sounds like the Tanabe Medallion Exhaust doesn't come with new gaskets I would like to make sure I have them on hand when installing the exhaust. My stock exhaust is about 80k miles old so I might as well as pick them up and use them. My question is which gaskets do I need? Part numbers or links would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2010 IS350. Thanks!

You don't need exhaust gaskets. That's why it didn't come with one. When you take out old muffler you'll see.

There is a gasket. People usually just reuse it. But some people do replace it. Not sure the part number. p

If I decide to just pick up the gasket since my car has just about 80,000 miles and wanted to be on the safe side and replace it, what is the part number of the gasket? Anyone know? Thanks!

Gasket ordered. I prefer to just replace the gasket since the car sees winters and has about 80k miles. With that being said, I also ordered the Tanabe axleback exhaust. I know it is partially stainless steel, but living in a cold climate with salty roads, is there something I can put onto the exhaust prior to installation to help protect it or last longer from the poor winter conditions? I am thinking a type of wax maybe or something i can wipe on and off..... thoughts??
