Is it ok to buy a use Tanabe Medallion Exhaust? 40K? or should I get a new one? any idea will be appreciated.

 

A used exhaust should be fine as long as there is no dents or dings to the exhaust. I got mine new from Amazon for about 600 and change with free two-day shipping. You can get it in the 400s used or better.

 

Even if I got a 2010 is250 model? How long should the exhaust last?

 

The exhaust will last as long as the car does. Assuming of course you don't keep it for 30 years and 500k miles. Lol.

I actually purchased the exact same used exhaust from a local member here. Can't complain, seems to be running all good besides the usual wear and tear blemishes on the exterior. But nothing that wax and good old elbow grease can't fix.

 

I would not buy a used auto part unless it was at least 50%-60% off new.
