Does that mean with the tune we have the software to edit the tune on our side? or have a professional tuner customize the tune to our car on a dyno?
I'm sure you can get their base tuned file and have another experienced tuner customize on the dyno, but i feel as though these guys did a lot of R&D and they created something efficient and reliable (in a way) .
This is from OV's website.
How it works - We will provide you with our reflashing software that you install onto your computer. Using the provided OBDII cable and USB License key, you will connect to your vehicle and run the software From there you will download your stock ECUs data (Engine and transmission Data) Then, we will send you a modified version of this data, which we have tuned.
OK, so you can hang on to your stock data at least. I think that leaves open the possibility of reverting back to it if need be. I wonder if TTI will offer the same functionality.

If we put 98RON tuned file but you use 95RON so the knocking situation has increased but the protection mechanism is immediately involved to protect engine and reduce the risk of failure, About this protection mechanism We raise the standard for durability.
I hope everyone knows what I mean
The protection mechanism in the ecu will adjust itself if you were to run 95 on a 98 RON tune.
Tony, is the reversal process back to stock an option with your re-flash?
When we connected OBD port and read out the ECU that's your stock data, you can use it for return to stock too via our tools.
That's great Tony, does the software have the ability to remove check engine light in case it occurs bcoz of the tune?
BTW Tony thanks for and Mohammed from TTI-UAE for working with me to tune the first 200t in UAE , I will be opening soon a build thread and share more info
Thanks for the info, does that mean people who get the tune now will have to pay for a retune? or will you provide it for people who already got the tune?

I agree. On the OV website they are charging $849 for the ECU tune and $1299.95 for the ECU & TCU tune.
I wonder if the TCU tune will simply incorporate higher line pressure for faster shifts. I think this is what it boils down to for the IS-F which apparently uses the same transmission but different tuning for more civility. Could be wrong..
