2007 Lexus Is350 muffler damage?
Hey everybody,
So I just got back from my mechanic. Lately my car has lost its aggressive exhaust note. I currently have a f sport exhaust installed and after taking it to my mechanic, he told me there is muffler damage on the right side of the exhaust. I bought the exhaust brand new (currently 5 months old) and I don't know what to do at this point. I baby the car and rarely floor it. Have any of you experienced loss of power and loss of tone from your exhaust? If so what was the cause and what was the solution?

Sounds like you break in the exhaust. Once its broken in during more time usage your exhaust will become more calm and less noise. I dont know if your mechanic has any idea about the Fsport exhaust but the righr side muffler is an empty package more like a striaght through box. The left has more packings inside. It's how the 2IS fsport is made from factory.
