Talking Installed a Tanabe exhaust

Woohoo, got my Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion installed on my car (doesn't even have 3k on the odometer yet ).

I have to say, it looks pretty sweet. And the sound? Very throaty, but nice and mellow. I haven't gotten a chance to drive it too much yet. On the highway while cruising, you can barely hear it. And when you accelerate, it roars with authority. On the inside, it kinda of sounds like a BMW I-6 stock exhaust from the interior, you can hear it, but it isn't annoying......unlike my Eclipse's full 3inch (no cat) exhaust (HKS Carbon-Ti).

I'll try to have pictures of it tomorrow.

dude, remove the resonators and then you will hear, "serious throaty." I just took mine off with the RMM exhaust and I am in total LOVE! Redgs4 has the Tanabe without the resonators and it sounds SWEEEEEET!

Well, I think it'll get a bit louder once it breaks in...but I don't think I want it much louder than it is. I like the way it sounds....well, for now I suppose

Hmmmm, after driving around for a few days.....I can honestly say this exhaust is SUPER quiet. The engine noise is louder than the exhaust (and I don't have an intake installed yet) I think I just may remove the resonators.

Once I get into work, I'll get some pictures for you. No, I didn't dyno it...but I doubt that I gained much hp since the piping diameter is very simliar to stock. Though what's nice is that it's full stainless steel from the cat back, so it's substantially lighter than stock. I can't divulge how much I got it for (I own a shop), but I can tell you that list is $850 and most places online sell it for between $620-$680 plus shipping. If you need one, I know someone in TX that can sell it to you.

Very nice. Now you've got to lower it a bit and put bigger rims with offsets that push them out a bit.
