Hey,
Yeah i am 18 years old. What cars have you owned previous to the IS? That would be a good license plate, lol...yeah i hate cops to it's like they control everybody and i hate it. escpecially in the summer now more cops are all out and around chasing people down. i cant wait to save up some money, i really want to do stuff, but everything is so expensive. i am now going to be saving up for the SRT intake, but wow i need like $600...i will be saving for a while. i think i am putting on my front lip sunday and i cant wait becuase i had it for like 2 months already. Wait, i'm sorry i forget, is your car automatic or stick? Do you plan on getting a body kit or anything for looks or you just into the preformance mods? Talk to ya,
Nicole

For intake SRT is probably the one that will give you the most hp, however it's expensive.

PLP intake been proven to give you about 8 Rwhp dynoed and it's the intake team lexus use on there cars. There website is www.prolexperformance.com

As for exhaust, L-tuned is probably the most quiet one and HKS is the one with the most gains.

I used to have the Injen intake and just switched over to the SRT one. It is way more expensive, but I think it sounds a lot better...plus it looks better. I am not sure about the hp improvements as I have yet to have it dyno'd. It doesn't really feel much different than before...

As far as exhaust's go...it is really up to you. I have the HKS titanium and I really like it. It isn't as loud as some of the cheaper one's the kids in Civics put on...until you open it up. It looks sharp and ended up fitting like a dream. I also don't know the gains for this, but I know that HKS has pretty good gains on all of their stuff.

Good luck with everything, and if you have anymore questions...just ask.

It all depends on the intake. I have heard the same thing, but haven't had any trouble with either on mine. The SRT, because it's piggyback runs into your ECU, elimates the problem for sure. With most others...it is kind of iffy.
