Default Retrofitting iS350 Supercharger To IS250

Hey guys,
I was curious when it comes to retrofitting an is350 supercharger kit to an is250 engine, what would be the complications?

I'm not to familiar with the differences. For the actual hardware components I'd imagine they aren't that different. Since our cars ecu are pretty much can't me modded I'd assume that takes out having to worry about the electronics and the difference in fuel injection.

Is the only real major difference would be finding a bracket for the supercharger?

I'm curious about what are the real differences. Not a "Just buy an is350 instead" thread.

I should have from the start lol. I'm just curious because my is250 has become my second car and not the daily anymore. With all the cracked dash and carbon buildup, I'd actually have to pay out of pocket a few thousand if I were to buy a used is350. Wish I could swap the 3uz like one of the guys did.

Crack dasboard and door, carbon build up should be cover by dealer for recall. I just got new dasboard and door replace for free by dealer.

I think the only big difference would be having to add more fuel to the is250 with fuel injectors

Yeah that tune is great, with Ppe headers and good exhaust n Intake you could get like +50-60hp

I seriously doubt you are getting +50hp on an is250 with that little effort.

Ppe headers add 18whp that tune adds 20whp which are both dyno proven and lets say an exhaust and intake together add 10 that’s 50 hp

Sorry buddy but you won't see more than 20hp with everything you said.If you want to notice some big diference in the IS250 you just install a supercharger kit and you can gain 60 hp(at list I did).

FYI,

We are currently in the process of testing a SC on our shop IS250... Preliminary specs are... 100-150hp gain depending on mods and setup. Price complete with tune less than $5000.

Will release details and ordering info in late December.

We will post more info and ordering info on our website over the weekend... but for now, I hope the 200whp gain is enough for you guys! Of course, we will continue development on this kit.

Intro pricing will be just $5200.

absolutely... the engines are basically the same. IS250 runs more boost but the smaller pistons can take more stress on the ringlands which is the weak point in these engines.

our shop car has 150,000 miles on it.
