IS350 True Dual X-pipe into Invidia Q300 Build
Hey guys just wanted to share my exhaust build and contribute I'm new to the forum so I need to meet the 30 post quota LOL. Here's a couple of clips put together I had the Q300 catback before this set up not for a very long time either because it wasn't sounding the way I would like it to sound. So CVT designs in Houston recommended a true dual build so I went with it and have had it for about 6 months now. Let me know what your opinion is on it! Also the drone is not bad at all I can hold a conversation in the car with people in the back no one has gotten a headache or anything and I've gone on long road trips with a full car. If anything my music is what keeps me from hearing people LOL.

Hey I'm the guy who asked you about the dual x pipe on youtube, and I didnt read your message till today and I already got the midpipes installed
. Would deleting the secondary cats make it louder?

I'm not too sure if deleting the secondary cat would make it noticeably louder. Like a resonator or muffler delete. But I assume deleting them would free up the exhaust flow which could make it a little louder.
With the invidia q300 cat back it felt more restrictive than my new set-up. The new set-up feels more free flowing. I added the x-pipe to solely quiet down the exhaust just a tad. It was really loud, raspy, droned a lot, and had a fluttering idle noise. My muffler shop told me I needed an x-pipe to equalize the flow to get rid of the fluttering idle. I've read that x-pipe can give small gains but it isn't anything huge. Overall I'm really happy with the set-up because I feel the car picks up much faster than stock, found the perfect sound I wanted that is not being too obnoxiously loud but it is still loud with an aggressive tone and the video doesn't do it justice compared to in person.

Awesome glad I could help you! Hopefully I'll see a post on here once you finish it.
