I would like to see just how many real performance guys are here. Please tell if you know what this is and how does it work. Do not worry, you are not being graded. haha Good Luck.

The vehicle is a 2001 GS 430.

My first guess? I've seen oil filter relocations / auxiliary filter units similar to this (most due to turbo piping interference and / or filtration issues).

My second guess? It's a transverse mounted torque induced genuine calf-skin bi-valve actuator.

oil relocation kit for those you don't want to get under the car to change the oil filter, the problem is you still have to get under the car to open the oil drain nut ha ha ha. save a bit of time with this. Look like a very clean install who makes the oil adapter? I like I like

Correct to all,

It is a relocation kit for an oil filter. You all would be shocked in how many people asked me what it was at show i did a few weeks ago. This oil filter kit is designed for the Supra twin turbo but with longer lines it can be installed on the GS's. The other thing that needs to be done is to make a bracket. Hope you like....

Hope to see more Lexus guys and Girls at the up coming Import Revolution at Anaheim Ca. March 22.

Gravity. Once you open the drain pulg and the the oil is mostly out, you can take of the oil filter off. Very little if any oil drips out. I still use a rag just in case some oil is still left over. Other then that is is very clean oil change....

That's the new hydraulic engine oil level stabilizer! It keeps a constant level of oil in the oil pan when you are cornering hard so the engine doesn't starve for oil! Hee hee. I guess a windage tray could do the same thing.

Yes, i am telling you to do more research. Show car, yes. Daily driver yes. Clean car yes. Here are some number from the TRust master goods catalog.

16 row oil cooler (just the cooler) $490
Oil block adapt (to the block) $120
Thermostat $120
oil filter adat. $120
total $850

hardware makes up for only $40 of the retail price. This includes all brackets and lines and all other nuts and bolts. Yes, do more Research!!

By the way, what shop do you work for again?
