Default Fsport exhaust with lease

Currently leasing a 2014 is350 fsport. I'm trying to get confirmation on modifying a leased car with a fsport axel back exhaust. Are we allowed to modify the car and return it with the fsport exhaust on it and not be surcharged? I'm hearing different responses.

Thanks
Ryan

Just switch it back to stock before you give it back. I asked before and the response they gave me was: "We'd have to look at how it would affect the car's residual value" lol

I don't plan on keeping the stock exhaust. It's annoying to hold on to it. I just would want to hand it back in with the fsport exhaust equipped

Oh. As long as you go do it through the dealer, I think you'd be fine.

I'd love to see some new and updated videos of an 2014+ is350 with the fsport exhaust and no aftermarket intake, just stock intake. If anyone can share if greatly appreciate it!

I just had an F Sport Performance Exhaust installed today and I have the stock intake. Anything you specifically want to know? Even though MRGXXER has the F Sport Intake I think it sounds extremely close to his videos on youtube.

I was looking for some light revs and some normal acceleration videos from the outside of the car. Trying to get an idea of volume. Is it comparable to a stock 350z? I just feel like the stock is350 exhaust sounds like nothing. Also is the cruising volume of the fsport exhaust ideal if your on the phone talking?

Ryan it is definitely louder than a stock 350Z, but the note is not intrusive. If I could estimate the increase in normal volume I would say 2-3x louder in the cabin. I've had no problems talking on the phone so far on the interstate or in the city. The volume of the note is also proportional to how hard you press on the pedal, so you can modulate accordingly when on the phone. The note is strong in the 2000-3000 rpm range and dissipates as the intake sound amplifies, if that makes sense.

Dealer had it in stock. Got it at an awesome deal and so far I couldn't be happier. It's very quiet. In the car is a slight hum but nothing crazy at all. Easily can take a call. Cruising on the high way produces no drone at all unless your going up a tall hill climb which is expected as it is a performance exhaust.

Sewell had a price comparable with Ebay $1120ish shipped, but if you can find a used one on ebay they are about $855 - $975 shipped.
