My guess is your valve body is not whining, but you are hearing the whine resonate through it because the pan is the thinnest part of the transmission.
For what it’s worth, I am an ASE, Nissan, and Infiniti Master Tech. I have never heard of a transmission whine unless it is a CVT or low on fluid.

Whining is usually caused by rotating parts. I suspect it is something such as a bearing in the gearset that is either loaded or unloaded in 1st and 2nd. I will try to find the 650 repair manual online when I get home to see if I can provide assistance.

Thanks but the reasoning is, the transmission was replaced but the valve body turned out to be ****. So the old valve body was reused. And the noise was brought over. No slipping or unusual shifts otherwise
