well with eletrical its digital so its on or off. so if that thing didnt completely fail then it wont throw you a code.

im in the same boat. im about to order that solenoid too.

What is the exact name of that solenoid? Lexus Toyota terms? And where do I access it? I've done stuff like replace plugs, take apart and clean TB... Is this beyond that sort of mechanical inclination or do I need somebody to do it?

i only got back to this thread cause i saw that sewell is closing so i need to order a solenoid (i think. god i hope im right. theyre expensive)

but my gs4 is randomly hard shifting from 3-2-1 when im driving into the parking lot.

so now im here
