Default Exhaust Question

I was browsing exhausts for my car and I came across this on ebay. It says that it is compatible with my car but I am not 100% sure. Can some of you guys who are more knowledgeable then me about these things take a look at this? I want to know if I could replace the tips on my stock exhaust with these:

You dont want this...this will require them to cut off your exisiting exhaust and weld this one onto the piping and well if you dont like the sound then youll be pretty much screwed

Stitch is right HOWEVER you can buy two mufflers for $100. Even if you put them on, don't like them, and have them removed and the originals replaced it will still be much cheaper than the after market systems.

Just my thoughts,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

That's what I did you can have the shop weld a flange to an axle back.

The stock inlet on the 3IS is 1.75" so the flange is required to adapt to the 2.5" inlet on the muffler.

Also, the 49$ muffler claiming it's high quality t-304 stainless makes me skeptical from a rust standpoint. If you do buy it, see if a magnet sticks to it. It shouldn't but if it does, it means it will have enough iron to increase the chances of rust.

I would get a quality muffler like universal Apexi or Greddy ones.
Those cost more but at least guaranteed quality.
A muffler shop should charge around 200~300 to custom the piping and it still costs less than F sport muffler.

Why is no one suggesting a different style of exhaust tips?

To each their own i guess..
